There were many important consequences of the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution caused many new machines to be brought into factories in order to mass produce the product. Factories needed to mass produce items as a result of a greater demand than there was before the Industrial Revolution. A negative consequence of the Industrial Revolution was that it caused a much greater amount of pollution to be emitted into the sky. The air and water was also polluted as a result of the Industrial Revolution, not just the air was polluted. Industrialization also affected agriculture because new machines and techniques were introduced that helped advance farming. Another consequence of the Industrial Revolution was that the population in rural areas decreased and populations in urban areas increased as a result of people moving to the cities to try and get jobs in the factories that were being improved drastically. The Industrial Revolution also made many humans of this time period think that they mastered nature, meaning that they were apart and above of it.
